On Monday 23 September Labour and trade union activists will demonstrate at Labour Party conference in solidarity with the democracy struggle in Hong Kong.
The demonstration will take place 2-3pm, 23 September at the Brighton Centre, King’s Road, Brighton BN1 2GR (on the seafront).
As well as more general support for the fight for democracy in Hong Kong, we will highlight the struggle of the Cathay Pacific workers, including union activists and reps, sacked for participating in the movement.
Please join us at the protest. For more information see the Facebook event or this tweet from Momentum national coordinator Laura Parker. Or email peteradcliff@gmail.com / ring 07519 662 605.
Please also add your name to this statement, ‘Solidarity with the Hong Kong protests’, signed by Clive Lewis, Catherine West, Julie Ward, Jude Kirton-Darling, Theresa Griffin, Aziz Isa Elkun, Paul Mason, Ian Hodson, Laura Parker, John Moloney and over a hundred others.
