The Labour Party is holding a policy consultation, running until 30 June. Eastern Region Fire Brigades Union, which supports the Free Our Unions campaign, has submitted a policy document to the Work, Pensions and Equality Commission of Labour’s National Policy Forum on repealing the anti-union laws and legislating for a strong right to strike. This is in line with the policy passed at the 2015, 2017 and 2018 party conferences, but not yet campaigned for.
Any Labour member can log in to the National Policy Forum site to support the proposal. Please help by
• Voting for it
• Posting a supportive comment (some members have been having trouble voting but commenting seems to be working ok)
• Sharing the link to the proposal or this page on social media.
Please take a few minutes to support the Eastern FBU document.
